Open space offices can be a real challenge. Although direct contact with colleagues accelerates communication and promotes team synergies, the constant noise level can often be disturbing – especially when full concentration is required. With our patented sound masking technology Presound, you create perfect acoustic conditions, even in heavily frequented rooms. Integrated into the office wall, it emits natural, imperceptible sounds and frequencies that positively influence the acoustics in the room.

The constant noise level in the open space office can quickly limit to concentration at work. Human speech is particularly important here because somehow we always listen when our colleague is talking on the phone or to another colleague. Sound absorbers can help to a certain extent here, but they often reach their limits with such complex noises as speech.
Modern office furniture efficiently blocks sound or even absorbs it. In addition, electronic devices such as printers or computers are emitting less noise. What seems very positive at first, does not necessarily benefit concentration: the lower the noise level, the more audible speech becomes.
Sound masking creates the balance here.
Presound, our patented sound masking system, is specifically designed to improve acoustics in offices. Integrated into the office wall, it creates a so-called noise carpet, a mixture of natural frequencies that runs constantly in the background. This noise carpet is deliberately inaudible, but efficiently covers speech sounds and has an extremely positive effect on the acoustics in the room. Thanks to sound masking, the conversation that previously distracted us from our work becomes an incomprehensible but not unpleasant hum. What initially seems a paradox, has a pleasant effect on the human ear and improves concentration demonstrably.
Presound masking produces extremely quiet frequencies at 35 - 38 dB that have a positive effect on concentration.
Presound is integrated into our wall system and requires no additional mounting.
The acoustic elements for sound masking cannot be localized or consciously perceived by the human ear.
An easy-to-use plug & play system allows quick transportation and installation.
A pre-fitting Presound kit can be integrated into the absorber wall and activated on demand
Presound reduces the basic noise level in an open space office. Our patented noise masking system enables you to clearly understand the colleagues next to you, while making conversations at the other end of the room unintelligible.
The red fields indicate language. The basic noise level is approx. 25 db (A).
Spoken words can be clearly understood and located over a wide range.
The result: absolute disturbance and distraction, which reduces performance and creates an unpleasant atmosphere at the workplace.
The red markings of human language are weakened and spread less.
The sound carpet of about 35 db (A) is distributed evenly throughout the room. Language can only be consciously understood at close range.
The result: increased concentration in a calm work environment. Increased well-being and motivation.
Silence is not the same as tranquility.. Silence means the complete absence of sound, which can often be as unpleasant to our complex hearing as too much of it.
In very quiet areas, Presound contributes to pleasant room acoustics with its natural sound carpet, as it discreetly hides the sudden impact of speech even before it disrupts us. Its acoustic elements are discreetly integrated into the wall and cannot be located consciously.
Our patented Presound system masks sound in a unique way. The noise carpet is extremely quiet and deliberately imperceptible. Unlike other sound masking solutions such as bird twittering, sea noise or other forms of white noise, Presound is completely subconscious. Especially for open space offices, Presound provides the ideal acoustics setup for full concentration.
