Open think tank for central areas

To make central areas as pleasant and creativity-enhancing as possible, our Prespace Discreto combines function and design in a modern and visually appealing way. With its walls and roof elements made of sustainable gypsum foam, the semi-open meeting corner offers the best acoustic conditions for personal conversations while preventing excessive noise levels in the room.

Unlike closed think tank solutions or telephone booths, however, passing colleagues do not feel completely excluded. On the contrary, the rounded meeting corner promotes communication between employees and work groups in the company in a relaxed manner.

A modular room-in-room system for modern office concepts

With its rounded, modern shape, Discreto fits perfectly into any office structure and can be quickly and easily redesigned in a modular fashion. Available in various dimensions, the individual parts of the acoustic corner are connected non-positively to each other by invisible clip connections. Depending on requirements, the room-in-room system can be disassembled, converted and positioned elsewhere in no time at all.

Improving room acoustics with Discreto

In the adjacent room acoustic simulation* of an open-plan office, the effect of Prespace Discreto is very clearly visible. In the simulation, one person is sitting at a group of tables and talking. The conversation is clearly audible to employees in the immediate vicinity and interferes with their productive work. Even employees further away can be distracted by the noise level.
The Discreto mid-zone solution ensures that the conversation is muffled by the gypsum foam acoustic material, reducing sound leakage to the outside. In the situation with Prespace Discreto, the sound pressure level at the adjacent table group above is 10.1 dB(A) lower.

Discreto can be freely personalized and designed according to your wishes. For this purpose, we offer a wide range of fabric covers in different colors, materials and prints, which can be complemented by your own designs. We also offer various options for designing the sturdy aluminum edges, which can either be covered with a fabric of your choice or elegantly anodized. For discreet demarcation as a rest island, the mobile room-in-room system can be color-matched to the office walls, for this purpose the front and back can be designed differently.
