Natural light, exactly where you need it

Light has always been vital for human survival – thanks to it we can perceive our surroundings and find our way around. A modern office is far less dangerous than the prehistoric jungle, yet we need light there too. Here, however, the right dosage is crucial: If the lighting is too strong, the prehistoric man that still lives inside us will feel irritated. If it is too weak or incorrectly placed, our sense of orientation is compromised. 

This dilema becomes irrelevant thanks to Prelight. Elegantly integrated into the office furniture, the illuminance can be individually adjusted as required, since every eye is different and our sensitivity to light can vary from day to day. The holistic illumination of the room also has a calming effect on the eye, unlike spot lighting, which has an irritating effect. 

On top of that, classical floor lamps that require additional space are no longer necessary due to the integrated lightening system. Thanks to energy-saving LEDs, Prelight radiates no heat and offers a harmonious, even flow of light that is pleasant for the eyes and facilitated full concentration.

Harmony for eye and ear

Poor acoustics and unpleasant lighting are two of the most frequent stress factors at work. Thanks to Prelight, you can smartly combine sound insulation and workplace lighting. 

The fusion of desk screen and LED lighting system was developed exclusively by PREFORM and is unique on the market. The arrangement of the LED strip on the top of the screen creates uniform, glare-free lighting that is similar to natural daylight and can be individually adjusted. The integrated light strip also directs sound waves in a kind to the ceiling which improves acoustics even further.

The smart lighting system with adjustable illuminance

Our acoustic solutions equipped with Prelight save space and make office furnishing as easy as pie. Privacy screen, acoustic absorber and lighting in one, the smart system creates optimal lighting conditions at the workplace. Thanks to intuitive clip connections, the installation is completely tool-free. Shadow-free illumination of the entire work surface with the corresponding LUX values becomes easy to achieve with Prelight.
