Auditory perception<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The auditory perception is a term to describe the effects of the acoustic properties of a room on sound performances, such as music or speech, at the location of the listener. Acoustics therefore describes the ability of a room to transmit speech and music as a function of reverberation time. Acoustics does not describe the physical properties of a room, but rather the psychological effects of hearing. Within the same room, audibility may vary locally and be subject to individual variations depending on the previous experience. In short, it is a question of the suitability of a room for sound performances.<\/p>

“A large amount of absorption surface helps a lot” (false)<\/p>

It is true that a large absorption surface automatically helps a lot. However, the absorber can only do its job if it is placed in the right place. If an absorber is very close to a noise source, it can be much more effective than if it is placed far away from the noise source (even if it is two or three times larger).
