The quality of a room – whether it is an office, a meeting room or an event center – depends largely on the room acoustics. Room acoustics deals with the propagation of sound in a closed room.<\/p>

Does it reverberate in your office or do you find it too loud?<\/p>

A high noise level quickly leads to fatigue and stress, especially when hard materials are used. These include concrete, glass and smooth plastics. All these materials have an influence on the room acoustics and can lead to deterioration. This is because the quality of the room acoustics is largely determined by the length of the reverberation time of the sound in the room. Closely related to this is the sound level that a sound source generates in the room. The longer the reverberation time, the higher the sound level. Due to structural conditions, sound can thus have a negative acoustic effect on the room. This can be counteracted by acoustic measures such as movable walls. The concentration of the employees can be increased, which has a positive effect on employee productivity. Sound absorbers in the office can help to improve room acoustics. In addition to mobile partitions or ceiling and wall absorbers, these can also consist of a partition wall for the desk.
