Linking and assembly
General
- Linking does not depend on element or column heights
- The same clips are used for linear connections and angled connections using a column
- Positions are locked using a screw introduced from above
Linear linking
- Linking clips are made of non-combustible plastic; using two per side, the clips are inserted on one edge of an element and the other element is clipped on
Angled linking
Vertical column, Ø 65 mm, aluminium profile
- seven grooves used for clip-linking
- one groove acts as a conduit for up to three cables
- for fixed/flexible 45o angles with additional variable adjustment +/- 15o, lockable
Brief assembly instructions
Basically, the elements are linked together via their edges (clip connection, 2 pieces each side) or can be held between desks or structural walls. All elements have adjustable feet to compensate for uneven flooring. It is recommended that adjustments be made before the elements are linked.
For stability, a footplate should normally be fitted every second element, and at the end of a run of elements. They should be fitted before the elements are linked.
The vertical column is used to create angles. Up to four elements can be connected to one column at 90
o angles.
When using counter-tops, suspended shelves, etc. ensure there is sufficient stability by designing corners into the arrangement or attaching elements to desks.

Environmental and acoustic features
Gypsum foam
Ecological and harmless to health, Preform’s gypsum foam is made from water and gypsum powder, a by-product of exhaust gas desulphurisation. After a polymer is added, a 100% recyclable foam is produced that hardens into any desired shape. As well as its excellent acoustic properties, it contributes considerably to a comfortable indoor climate by its ability to absorb and release moisture from the air. It has a Class B1 fire rating.
